Marta Rosolska

She studiedphotography after finishing studies in economy in Warsaw. During her studies inMarian Schmidt’s Warsaw’s Photography School and after she had the opportunityto work in studios with many known photographers. She took a  job as a photographer on Princess CruisesLine.  After few years of travelingall over the world she met the very well known American photographer, DanWhite, who invited her  to the USAto develop her knowledge.

After her experiencein Kansas, USA, she started to focus her art on making portraits, specializingin visual anthropology. “In my photography I’m trying show real people,connected to their historical roots. I show their passion and spiritual momentsduring dancing, praying and playing instruments. My photography has given me possibilityto travel to unusual places and meet unique people”, says Marta about herphotography.

Most of her works arecreated in digital form and then changed with different techniques with usingnatural backgrounds like stone, wood, water, etc.

Her photo collectionsare displayed in Haskell University in Lawrence, USA,  West South West Gallery, Denver, USA,  Gallery Fold, Reykjavik,  Iceland and The State EthnographicMuseum, Warsaw, Poland
